영어교수법

교과목 소개

본 과목은 미래의 영어교사를 위하여 영어 교수법과 관련된 개념과 실제에 대하여 학습한다. 과거 문법 번역 식 교수법부터 20세기 후반에 그 중요성이 강조된 의사소통중심의 교수법 그리고 최근의 주목 받고 있는 과제중심 교수법까지, 19세기 이후 현재 까지 각 영어교수법의 특징에 대하여 숙지한다. 또한 학습자에 대한 이해를 높이기 위하여 학습자의 영어 발달에 영향을 주는 인지적, 정의적, 언어적 변인들에 대하여 소개한다. 아울러 영어 학습 현장에서 매우 주요한 요소인 영어 학습교재의 유형과 활용방법에 대하여 다루고 이를 바탕으로 영어 교안 작성 기법에 대하여 실질적인 연습을 한다. 구체적인 교실 수업 진행을 위하여 듣기, 읽기, 말하기, 쓰기, 문법, 어휘 등에 대한 교수기법도 숙지하도록 한다. 학습자의 언어 숙련도 평가와 관련된 개념을 살피고, 끝으로 교사 자신의 개발에 대한 문헌상의 제언을 검토해 보기로 한다.
